Annual International Trip

We want our graduates to understand that learning is a lifelong journey. It doesn’t end with one’s formal education and it doesn’t end once you step out of the classroom. Empathy, understanding, and the drive to, in the words of Walt Whitman, “contribute a verse” to the world stem from traveling outside one’s home and learning to see beyond one’s own perspective.

Our annual international trip allows students to explore the world, immersing themselves in other cultures while visiting famous landmarks, national parks, and historical settings. During the trip, students also learn practical skills such as how to balance their daily spending budgets. Students gain confidence in their ability to interact in settings vastly different from their own. Over the years, Palo Alto Preparatory has traveled to Germany, Peru, Argentina, France, New Zealand, Peru and more.
